After reaching on the top of the right platform jump the small gap to the other platform and follow the path to water. Kill the Bitefish before swinging or swimming to avoid taking any damage. You can swim across the water, through the gap between the two platforms, before locating a climb spot hidden on the back side of the right platform. Be careful! If you touch the water while swinging you immediately lose your hold on the grapple. Both point at the same stretch of water.įrom the left side of the fork you can use the above grappling point to swing to the platform on the right side. After some time outside looking over the water you swam through at the beginning, you come across a cave with a small fork. Use your bow, and kill one farthest from the fire out first, then look left and take the other two out before they notice you. You will reach a small camp of Udam containing two Archers and a Warrior. Light the small bonfire near the top to help light the way.įollow the path into a large day lit area where an Udam warrior fighting a Leopard that blocks your path. Upon reaching the top you need to jump a few gaps on the path leading toward the objective marker. Pull yourself up to the top of the grappling point, then find next grappling point and pull yourself. These two climbing spots lead up to a grappling point. When in the water at the bottom, use your Hunter Vision to find climbing spots. This path will lead you to the bottom of the cliffs. After that jump a few gaps to reach the next area so be sure to watch where you step as falling could be dangerous.Īfter reaching the large cliff, look on your left side and stick to the wall. This fire spreads all the way up to the small bonfire, scaring off the Leopard, and lighting the way out of this area. Once you enter a larger cave area, light the platform on fire. After reaching the top, carefully follow the platform. Use your Hunter Vision to find the climbing spots across the room and climb four different times to reach the top, and then follow the wooden platform to a dead end marked by an Eagle Cave Painting.įind two grappling points. Follow the path through to the backside of another waterfall and keep your spear ready as another Leopard attacks you the moment you step through the waterfall and into the water. Obviously, this won’t help you when the cave is involved in a story mission that is required, but if it’s just you exploring a cave for painting and such, you can always fast travel out of there to another location. There is one recommendation I have that can help you when you are totally lost in most situations, using fast travel to escape. The only saving grace is that sometimes you can see a little better by going underwater and seeing where light reflects. This is largely caused by the fact that your fire covered weapons are doused with water every time you need to swim, making it basically impossible to see in the water at all. Specifically, the areas that have multiple water sections make this even tougher, as it’s very easy to get turned around. The biggest problem that comes into play though are the water filled sections that can make you absolutely lose your mind after awhile. With no map showing the way inside these caves, you are completely left to finding your way out all alone.
